It is now 1936, and much has changed since the war's end. Germany became the dominant power of Europe, a position that it would carry into the world in the decade after. The Central Powers are declared the victors of the war in the Treaty of Versailles of 1918, triumphing over the Entente Powers. With renewed strength, the Central Powers launches several great offensives in Spring 1919, collapsing both France and Italy into revolutions. Later that year, the British naval blockade is partially lifted after a British submarine mistakenly torpedoes an American freighter heading to Germany, allowing the Central Powers to regain their energy. the real world history during The First Weltkrieg in 1917, when the German Empire does not renew unrestricted submarine warfare, preventing the United States from joining the Entente. The Kaiserreich timeline departs from that of the OTL note "original timeline", i.e. Currently in 1.4 beta for Hearts of Iron II, 1.9 beta for Darkest Hour and 0.21.2 Beta for Hearts of Iron IV, Kaiserreich takes many of the same nations in a different direction, while introducing dozens of new countries, ministers and leaders. A work-around is to open the application from the commandline. It happened to me a couple of times that the GUI of Karabiner-Elements or Karabiner-Eventviewer would not display. When you work with Goku or directly with Karabiner-Elements this tool shows all keyboard events. Karabiner-Elements comes with a very nice debugging tool, Karabiner-Eventviewer. My menu bar is already filled with icons so I unchecked the option “Show icon in menu bar …” In some cases you need to create the ‘Default’ profile in other cases you need to rename the profile to ‘Default’. The “Default” profile is a requirement for Goku. Under “Basic configuration” make sure your keyboard is selected (☑️). After running “Goku” this tab will be filled. Initially the “Complex modifications”-tab is empty. My current configuration has no simple modifications. In part 1 an example was shown that swapped the left Option (⌥) and left Command (⌘) keys.
